High-Impact Research Projects Funded
Selected collaborative study and commissioned paper on Flood Risk Study and Location-Specific Financial Loss Forecasts, Nature-based Solutions on Mangrove and Peatland restoration, as well as climate finance study, covering all over Indonesia. These initiatives unite top universities and NGOs across Indonesia to field-test and scale real-world solutions for community resilience and equitable ecosystem restoration.

Fostering Next-Generation Eco-Innovators
Through a cross-border Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program, recruiting university students from Canada and Indonesia for hands-on internships. This program empowers the next generation of environmental leaders by placing them directly into the field to work on cutting-edge nature-based climate solutions.

Multistakeholder Dialogues
Dissemination on lessons learned from flood risk studies, climate finance studies, and NbS restoration and conservation field monitoring results, producing recommendations for gender-responsive community resilience and policy change.

Establishing a National Center of Excellence
IPB Centre For Applied Research In Nature-Based Solutions (I-CAN) established at IPB University. Research for Climate Change and Knowledge Sharing (RECLICKS) established in collaboration with Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center. A premier national hub dedicated to analyzing and advancing socially just carbon pricing, carbon trading, and greenhouse gas reduction policies.
